Commercials need to be filmes somewhere.
Usually you do not notice the set a plot for the newest bank add takes place in, unless it’s speciffically remarkable as a setting, but nevertheless the filming takes place in real world sorroundings most of the time.
And this is happening 20m away from my desk right now. The film crew has been here for the past 4-5 hours along with an aprox. 100 headed corpus of acting amateurs. The fascinating thing is, that our house is the last shooting scene for the add ( they’ve had several) and thus the atmosphere went from tired people to chaoticly dissoriented people to people without any energy to extremely loud cheers in the time I’ve been watching them. Now I can safely say if it weren’t fot the catering….there would have mbeen some mass disobediance going on pretty surely.
that’s that , the last take was sucesfull and in less than an hour everybody will go home. Appart form the crew, they will probably never see eachother again. Well maybe at the next bigger roundabout.
